Courts Continue to Pave Way for PAGA Claims

The Private Attorneys General Act of 2004 (PAGA) authorizes individuals, also referred to as “aggrieved employees,” to bring representative actions against employers to recover civil penalties for violations of the California Labor Code — and two recent court decisions have given it even more teeth.​
