Employers Must Respond Quickly to Sexual Harassment by Nonemployees

Employers should take note: A 2017 court case in which a hotel employee was attacked and sexually assaulted by a trespasser determined that the employee can pursue a Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) harassment claim against her employer for the attack (M.F. v. Pacific Pearl Hotel Management, LLC, 16 Cal.App.5th 693 (2017)).​
