Ninth Circuit: Temporary, Months-Long Impairment May Constitute Disability Under the ADA

While most employers in California view the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as a floor when it comes to employee rights, a recently decided Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals case suggests that the definition of a disability under the ADA and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) may be more similar than different.
