Gratitude and November go hand in hand — not only do most Americans celebrate gratitude on Thanksgiving Day, but in 2015, November was designated as National Gratitude Month: a full 30 days of embracing the power of gratitude.
An argument can be made, however, for employers to show thankfulness all year long. Expressing appreciation for employees and their accomplishments is easy and, most of the time, free. Not only does expressing gratitude improve employers’ and their employees’ physical and mental wellbeing — it also improves workplace morale and productivity. A win-win scenario to be grateful for!
