Court Allows Non-Employee Lawsuit for COVID-19 to Proceed

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a number of unique workplace lawsuits, many aspects of those cases can be addressed under well-traveled legal structures. Illnesses and injuries are certainly not new to the workplace, and California’s system of workers’ compensation has long covered employee losses for work-related injuries.
