After the 2017 #MeToo movement opened the nation’s eyes to the prevalence of sexual harassment at work, California employers received and responded to an increasing number of internal harassment complaints.

In fact, many harassment complaints that employers investigated over the past year were issues reflective of trends that evolved from the 2017 social media explosion.
