Over the last several years, many HR professionals have noticed that all the happenings in our society lead to ill will, and sometimes hostilities, in the workplace. In fact, they've even said that it'd be nice if they could get their employees to simply avoid talking about current events at work. Ultimately, however, this isn't possible; employees are going to talk about current events at work and with colleagues — and by themselves, in the form of self-talk.
