COVID-19: Marin County Supplemental Paid Sick Leave Ordinance

On June 8, 2021, the Marin County Board of Supervisors adopted Marin County’s COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave Ordinance. Intended to fill the gap left by California’s 2021 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave law (SB 95), which applied to employers with more than 25 employees, this urgency ordinance applied to employers in unincorporated Marin County with 25 or fewer employees.
