• On July 7, 2020, the Santa Rosa City Council adopted an urgency ordinance requiring employers to provide temporary COVID-19-related emergency paid sick leave. The urgency ordinance went into effect immediately on July 7, 2020. This supplemental paid sick leave is in addition to the requirements imposed by the Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Families Act (California Paid Sick Leave (PSL) Law).
