Conduct a Follow-Up Interview

You may need to interview the complainant and/or the respondent again at the end of the process depending on statements or evidence received during the investigation. If follow-up interviews are necessary, follow these steps:
- Discuss what you have learned with the individual that is relevant to the investigation and question the interviewee on the disparity in their responses with what you have learned.
To the complainant: “I spoke to the employees who were identified as witnesses, and I was told you are ‘out to get’ the respondent because he rejected your romantic advances.”
To the respondent: “The witnesses I’ve spoken to confirmed that you repeatedly ‘tell dirty
