If my business has a Halloween costume day, and someone comes to work in something inappropriate, how do I handle the situation?

Employees should be advised before the holiday that they are expected to dress appropriately for the workplace and those who do not will be disciplined consistent with the company’s policy. Supervisors and managers should be advised as such and should send an employee home to change as a disciplinary measure if s/he is not dressed appropriately for the workplace.
