What are my responsibilities when an employee has a workplace injury?

An employer has numerous obligations when a workplace injury occurs. First and foremost, an employer must provide immediate medical care when necessary. The employer will also have various reporting and notice obligations and will need to take action to eliminate any hazards that contributed to the injury.
