The city of Belmont (the city) enacted a minimum wage ordinance (the MWO) that requires you to pay any employee who works at least two hours in one calendar week within the geographic boundaries of the city of Belmont at the local minimum wage rate (the Belmont minimum wage).1

The MWO applies to your business if it is subject to the Belmont Business License Tax or if you maintain a facility in Belmont. If you conduct any business in Belmont, even if you don't have a facility there, the MWO likely applies to your business.
