San Francisco Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance

San Francisco's Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance (FFWO) gives certain employees the right to request, "flexible or predictable working arrangements to assist with caregiving responsibilities."

Exclamation content: The San Francisco Office of Labor Standards Enforcement (OLSE) expanded the protections of the FFWO through amendments in 2022 and published Rules Implementing the Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance. The amendments were largely implemented in response to the strains caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
