How To: Administer Pregnancy Disability Leave

​​Employers with five or more employees are covered by California’s pregnancy disability leave (PDL) law. Employers with 50 or more employees may also need to comply with both federal and state family and medical leave laws. Employers with 20 or more employees may need to comply with California’s parental leave law, the New Parent Leave Act (NPLA)​.
